Who we Are

United Faith Chapel is a student based Christian fellowship that operates in Kampala International University in Uganda (East Africa). It is there to fulfill the great commission that our Lord Jesus Christ gave to his disciples in Matthew 28:19-20: “Go ye therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit: teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I commanded you: and lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.”(ASV) We are a mission sending ministry in that we take time to disciple students during their time in school then send them out to be missionary and to influence people for Christ in their different spheres of influence.

We are a church committed to integrity first; in all we do we try by the grace of God not to compromise our integrity as believers and the integrity of the church so doing the right thing comes first in all our decisions. Then we pledge for service before self; that in all we do we look first at the benefit that other people are going to get from our service before we can see what we get. As our Lord said he did not come to be served but to serve; we also desires to serve. Then thirdly we seek excellence in all we do; we believe that God has called us to give the best of ourselves to his work so we try to do things with excellence.

What We Do

We are disciple makers, all we do as a church in geared towards equipping the body of Christ with truth and necessary support for every believer to be successful in their Christian walk. Our goal in helping people is Colossians 1:28 “whom we proclaim, admonishing every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ.”(ASV) To present ourselves and all the people that God has entrusted to us perfect in Christ. We are a mission sending ministry in that we take time to disciple students during their time in school then send them out to be missionary and to influence people for Christ in their different spheres of influence. On top of that we also help people to know the truth and to live by it; to live in harmony and unity with the rest of people. Ephesians 4:13-15: “till we all attain unto the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a full-grown man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ: that we may be no longer children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, in craftiness, after the wiles of error; but speaking truth in love, we may grow up in all things into him, who is the head, [even] Christ;”(ASV) For details on how we achieve this through out different programs look at the programs and ministries
